DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT [L8, LF]

1.  Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2.  Rotate the drive belt auto tensioner in the direction shown in the figure and remove the drive belt.

3.  Install a drive belt.

Note

•  Use a mirror to see the position of the drive belt auto tensioner indicator mark.

4.  Verify that the drive belt auto tensioner indicator mark does not exceed the limit. (See DRIVE BELT INSPECTION [L8, LF].)

•  If it exceeds the limit, replace the drive belt.

5.  Install the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)
