CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION [L8, LF]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.

3.  Remove the driver‐side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the clock spring (cruise control switch-side) connector.

5.  Inspect for resistance and continuity between terminals B—C (part-side) using a tester.

•  If not as specified, replace the cruise control switch. (See AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
