AIR FUEL RATIO (A/F) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3.  Install the SST to the A/F sensor.

4.  Remove the A/F sensor.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

A/F sensor tightening torque
29—49 N·m {3.0—4.9 kgf·m, 22—35 ft·lbf}
