DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the battery cover.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3.  Affix protective tape to the location in the figure.

4.  Move the hook A in the direction of arrow shown in the figure using a tape-laped flathead screwdriver and detach it from the door trim.

5.  Remove the assist handle cover.

6.  Remove the cover.

7.  Remove the screws.

8.  Detach clips B from the door trim using fastener remover.

9.  Pull the door trim upward and detach tabs C from the door.

10.  Disconnect the tweeter connector.

11.  Disconnect the power outer mirror switch connector. (driver’s side)

12.  Remove the inner handle cover.

13.  Remove the door trim.

14.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
