•  The HF/TEL unit communicates information to the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone via radio waves, and with the center panel unit via the CAN system.
•  The HF/TEL unit recognizes the voice spoken into the vehicle’s microphone to operate the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
•  The HF/TEL unit utilizes a self-diagnostic function.
•  When the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position, the HF/TEL unit initiates communication with the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. (Any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone must be programmed to the HF/TEL unit. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for the programming procedure.)
•  If the center panel unit or audio control switch is operated, the HF/TEL unit sends the information of the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to the center panel unit.

Voice Recognition Function

•  If the voice/audio recognition switch is operated, the voice recognition function operates. When the voice spoken into the vehicle’s microphone matches the voice command pre-set for the HF/TEL unit, the HF/TEL unit performs the mode set to the voice command.
•  The voice commands and their functions are as follows (examples): Refer to the Owner’s Manual for the voice command list.

Self-diagnostic Function

•  When the center panel unit is operated, the HF/TEL unit initiates self-diagnosis. The HF/TEL unit sends the diagnostic results to the center panel unit to display DTCs.
