Purpose, Function

• Supplies power to the PCM for the fuel injector and spill valve control solenoid valve operation.

Construction

• The sub relay is installed in the relay and fuse block.

• A normal open relay has been adopted for the sub relay. When electric current flows to the coil, the contact point is drawn by the generated electromagnetic power and switches on.

Operation

1. The contact point is on (1) when the sub relay coil is energized by the battery power from the main relay.

2. Power is supplied (2) to the PCM for the fuel injector and the spill valve control solenoid valve operation.
