Purpose/Function

•  The CPP switch detects the clutch connection condition (release/depressed).

Construction

•  The CPP switch is located on the clutch pedal.

•  A pushed-in rod has been adopted for the CPP switch.
•  The relation of the clutch pedal, rod, and CPP switch is as follows.

Operation

1.  When the clutch pedal is depressed, the CPP switch rod is released.

2.  When the rod is released, the CPP switch turns on (1).

3.  When the CPP switch is on, the PCM detects (2) a CPP switch ON signal.
