Purpose/Function

•  The manual transmission converts the drive force (speed, torque, rotation direction) input from the engine according to the shift lever operation inside the vehicle, and transmits it to the rear wheel via propeller shaft, rear differential and rear drive shaft.

Construction

•  A linked, carbon coated triple cone synchronizer mechanism has been adopted for 1st and 2nd gears.
•  A linked, triple cone synchronizer mechanism has been adopted for 3rd and 4th gears.
•  A linked, double-cone synchronizer mechanism has been adopted for 5th gears.
•  A cam-type reverse lockout mechanism has been adopted.
