MAGNETIC CLUTCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

3.  Connect battery to terminal A of magnetic clutch and ground to A/C compressor body.

4.  Verify that the magnetic clutch operates.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the magnetic clutch. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)
