FUEL-FILLER LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Open the trunk lid.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the fuel-filler lid lock actuator. (See FUEL-FILLER LID LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  While pressing the tabs of the fuel-filler lid opener in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach it from the body.

6.  Remove the fuel-filler lid opener.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
