DECK WEDGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Male Wedge

Removal

1.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the rear roof open.

2.  Place alignment marks on the male wedge and the body. (LH)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  Remove the male wedge.

Installation (when reusing the male wedge)

1.  Install the male wedge with the alignment marks aligned.

Installation (when not reusing the male wedge)

1.  Peel off the backing of the double-sided adhesive tape.

2.  Temporarily tighten the bolts.

3.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, close the rear roof.

4.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, open the rear roof.

5.  Completely tighten the bolts.

Female Wedge

Removal

1.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the rear roof open.

2.  Place alignment marks on the female wedge and the rear roof.

3.  Remove the bolts and the washer.

4.  Remove the female wedge.

Installation

1.  Install the female wedge with the alignment marks aligned.
