1. When the washer switch is turned on (1), the start stop unit sends (2) a washer switch on signal to the BCM via CAN communication.
2. When the BCM receives a washer switch on signal the first time with the operation conditions met, it turns the transistor on (3).
3. When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the headlight cleaner relay is established (4), and the headlight cleaner relay turns on (5).
4. When the headlight cleaner relay turns on, the headlight cleaner motor is activated (6) and washer fluid is injected from the headlight cleaner nozzles.
5. The BCM counts the number of times the washer switch on signal is received, and operates the headlight cleaner automatically every fifth count.
