•  The driver can optionally choose to switch the lane departure warning system (LDWS) to operational or non-operational.

•  The LDWS switch sends a switch operation signal to the instrument cluster.

•  The LDWS switch is built into the cluster switch.

1.  When the LDWS switch is operated, the LDWS switch operation signal is sent (1) to the instrument cluster.

2.  Based on the switch operation signal (detected voltage value), the instrument cluster sends (2) the LDWS switch operation signal to the forward sensing camera (FSC) via CAN communication.

3.  When the forward sensing camera (FSC) receives the LDWS switch operation signal from the instrument cluster, it switches (3) the lane departure warning system (LDWS) to operational or non-operational.
