•  The Advanced Smart City Brake Support (Advanced SCBS)/Smart City Brake Support [Forward] (SCBS F)/Smart City Brake Support [Reverse] (SCBS R) can be turned on or off optionally by the driver.

•  The switch operation signal is sent to the instrument cluster.

•  The smart city brake support (SCBS) OFF switch is built into the cluster switch.

•  The resistance is built into each switch.

1.  When the smart city brake support (SCBS) OFF switch operates, the smart city brake support (SCBS) OFF switch operation signal is sent to the instrument cluster.

2.  The instrument cluster determines that the switch has been operated based on the received voltage value (switch operation signal), and the smart city brake support (SCBS) OFF switch operation signal is sent to the laser sensor.

3.  When the laser sensor receives the smart city brake support (SCBS) OFF switch operation signal from the instrument cluster, it switches the smart city brake support (SCBS) on/off.

1.  When the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch is operated, a cluster switch operation signal is sent (1) to the instrument cluster.

2.  The instrument cluster sends (2) the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch operation signal to the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) based on the switch operation signal (detected voltage).

3.  When the laser sensor receives the Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) OFF switch operation signal from the instrument cluster, it switches the Advanced Smart City Brake Support (Advanced SCBS)/Smart City Brake Support [Forward] (SCBS F)/Smart City Brake Support [Reverse] (SCBS R) to operate/not operate (3).
