OIL PRESSURE SWITCH INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

1.  Perform the DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].)

•  If DTC P0520:00 or P0524:00 is detected, repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC P0520:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].) (See DTC P0524:00 [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].)

2.  Inspect the engine oil pressure. (See OIL PRESSURE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

•  If the engine oil pressure is normal, replace the oil pressure switch. (See ENGINE OIL SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)
