HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

L.H.D.

1.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

2.  Remove clips A.

3.  While pressing clip B tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press clip B in the direction of arrow (2) to detach clip B tabs from the bracket. (Heater hose B)

4.  Remove the heater hose A.

5.  Remove the heater hose B.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

R.H.D.

1.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

2.  Remove the clips.

3.  Remove the heater hose A.

4.  Remove the heater hose B.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

6.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)
