•  The active bonnet sensors detect an impact to the front of the vehicle.

•  The active bonnet sensor converts the detected impact to an electrical signal.

•  A crash sensor is built into each active bonnet sensor.

•  The active bonnet sensors are located on the back side of the front bumper.

•  Six active bonnet sensors are equipped so that a frontal collision can be detected in a wide area at the front of the vehicle.
