ESS (EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL SYSTEM) DOES NOT OPERATE (See ESS (EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL SYSTEM) DOES NOT OPERATE [EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL SYSTEM (ESS)].)	•  The sudden deceleration hazard warning mode of the emergency signal system (ESS) does not operate. ―  The hazard warning lights do not flash even though the brake pedal is pressed and the vehicle decelerates suddenly*1 while driving at a vehicle speed of 60 km/h {37 mph} or more. •  The emergency stop hazard warning mode of the emergency signal system (ESS) does not operate. ―  Hazard warning lights stop flashing even though the brake pedal is depressed at a vehicle speed of 10 km/h {6.2 mph} or less while the sudden deceleration hazard warning mode operates.
