KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Seat (LH) (See SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Scuff plate (LH) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(4)  Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(5)  Side shelf (LH) (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.

4.  Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Reconnect the connector.

6.  Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

7.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).

•  If the voltage is not as specified in the terminal voltage table (reference), inspect the parts under Inspection item(s) and related wiring harnesses.
―  If the system does not operate normally even though the parts under Inspection Item(s) and related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
