Note

•  If the fuel-filler lid cannot be opened due to a discharged battery or malfunctions in the electrical system, open the fuel-filler lid using the following procedure.

1.  Remove the fasteners in the positions shown in the figure.

2.  Partially peel back the trunk side trim (LH) to the position allowing operation of the fuel-filler lid actuator lever. (SeeTRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Pull the fuel-filler lid actuator lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.
