Purpose

•  The top lock striker secures the convertible top in the fully-closed condition.

Function

•  The top lock switch built in the top lock striker turns on/off in conjunction with opening/closing of the convertible top, and the power window control module detects the open/closed condition of the convertible top by changes in the voltage.

Note
•  The convertible top open signal/convertible top close signal sent by the top lock switch and convertible top is used by the power window control module for controlling the convertible top interlock open operation. Refer to the [POWER WINDOW SYSTEM] for details.(See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM.)

Construction

•  The top lock striker is located on the front header trim.
•  The top lock striker has a built-in top lock switch and top lock switch knob.
