Purpose
• The retractable hardtop warning light/indicator light notifies the driver of the retractable hardtop operation conditions or a retractable hardtop malfunction.
Functions
• The indicator unit turns on/flashes the retractable hardtop warning light/indicator light based on the warning indication request signal sent from the retractable hardtop control module.

Construction
• The retractable hardtop warning light/indicator light is built into the indicator unit.
Operation
1. When the indicator unit receives (1) a warning indication request signal from the retractable hardtop control module while the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), it turns the transistor on (2).
2. When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the retractable hardtop warning light/indicator light is established, and the retractable hardtop warning light/indicator light turns on or flashes (3).
