CONVERTIBLE TOP SWITCH INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the scuff plate. (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the tire house trim. (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the convertible top. (See CONVERTIBLE TOP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Note

•  When inspecting the convertible top switch on the unlatch side of the convertible top, move link B to the position 94—104° from the fully-closed position.
