ROOF RETAINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Seat back bar garnish (front) (See SEAT BACK BAR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Quarter trim (See QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Place alignment marks on the roof link bracket and the roof retainer installation bolt.

3.  Remove the bolt.

4.  Remove the nut.

5.  Remove the roof retainer.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Roof Retainer Installation Note.)


Roof Retainer Installation Note

1.  Install the roof retainer with the alignment marks aligned.
2.  Partially peel back the weatherstrip and rotate the adjusting bolts to adjust the tilt of the roof retainer.
