REAR ROOF PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the rear roof open.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector.

4.  Place alignment marks on the rear roof link and the rear roof.

5.  Remove the nuts.

Note

•  Place alignment marks on the roof link bracket and the roof retainer installation bolt.

6.  Remove the shims.

7.  Remove the rear roof panel.

8.  Remove the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Rear Roof Panel Installation Note.)

Rear Roof Panel Installation Note

1.  Install the shim according to the number verified prior to removal.

2.  Install the rear roof panel with the alignment marks aligned.

3.  Perform the retractable hardtop adjustment. (See RETRACTABLE HARDTOP ADJUSTMENT.)
