Purpose

• The wiper motor transmits rotation force to the wiper link to operate the wiper arms and blades.

Function

• The wiper motor operates by the electrical current input according to the wiper switch operation, and generates rotation force for the low/high 2 system.

Construction

• The wiper motor consists of the motor, wiper link No.1, and the wiper link No. 2.

Operation

1. The wiper motor (1) using the electrical current which is input according to the wiper switch operation.

2. When the motor rotates, rotation force is transmitted to the wiper link and converted (2) to the reciprocating movement of the wiper link.

3. The wiper arms and blades are driven (3) in tandem with the reciprocating movement of the wiper link.

4. When the wiper arms and blades are operated to the park position, the auto-stop switch turns off (4) and the wiper arms and blades stop (5).
