Purpose
Adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green)

• The adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green) notifies the driver that the adaptive LED headlights is operating.
Adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber)
-
• Adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) warns the driver that a malfunction is occurring in the adaptive LED headlights.
Function
Adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green)

• The instrument cluster turns the adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green) on based on the system conditions display request signal sent from the forward sensing camera (FSC) as a CAN signal.
Adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber)

• The instrument cluster turns on the adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) based on the system malfunction display request signal sent from the forward sensing camera (FSC) as a CAN signal.
Structure/Construction
• The adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green) and adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) are built into the instrument cluster.
• A warning message is indicated in the center display when the adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) is turned on. For the message content and verification method, refer to the [CENTER DISPLAY]. (See

Operation
Adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green)

1. When the adaptive LED headlights operates, the forward sensing camera (FSC) sends (1) a system conditions display request signal to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
2. The instrument cluster turns the transistor on (2) based on the system conditions display request signal.
3. When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green) is established, and the adaptive LED headlights indicator light (green) turns on (3).
Adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber)

1. If there is a malfunction in the adaptive LED headlights, the forward sensing camera (FSC) sends (1) a system malfunction display request signal to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
2. The instrument cluster turns the transistor on (2) based on the system malfunction display request signal.
3. When the transistor turns on, a ground circuit with the adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) is established, and the adaptive LED headlights warning light (amber) turns on (3).
