THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION [L8, LF]

Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3.  Disconnect the throttle body connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between throttle actuator terminals A and B.

Throttle body resistance
0.3—100 ohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
•  If not as specified, replace the throttle body. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)
