BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [P66M-D]

1.  Remove the battery cover.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3.  Loosen the starter installation bolts only enough that the starter is loose, but not removed. (See STARTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

4.  Remove the transmission. (See TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [P66M-D].)

5.  Disconnect the back-up light switch connector and remove the back-up light switch.

6.  Install the back-up light switch (with a new gasket) to the transaxle case.

Tightening torque
25—34 N·m {2.5—3.5 kgf·m, 18—25 ft·lbf}

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
