Airflow Volume Automatic Control
• The climate control unit calculates the blower motor applied voltage based on the target temperature, and outputs the drive signal to the power MOS FET.
Warm-up correction
• The blower motor applied voltage is controlled to 9.5 V to prevent discomfort caused by a high volume of cold air blown from the vents after the engine is started in winter. However, the warm-up correction is not performed when the airflow mode is in vent or defroster mode.
MAX HOT and MAX COLD correction
• When the temperature is set to 29, the blower motor applied voltage is fixed at AUTO-HI, and when set to 15, it is fixed at MAX-HI.
Fan-down correction during mode switching
• The blower motor applied voltage is decreased to 8.5 V during the mode actuator operation.
Start correction during high evaporator temperature
• The fan turns off for 3 s when the evaporator temperature is 35 °C {95 °F} or more and the A/C is on during the blower motor operation.
