DTC INSPECTION [ACTIVE BONNET]

1. Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to the DLC-2.

2. After vehicle identification, select the following from the IDS initialization screen.

(1) Select "Self Test".

(2) Select "Modules".

(3) Select "DHS".

3. Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.

• If a DTC is displayed, repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

4. After completion of repairs, clear all DTCs stored in the active bonnet control module. (See CLEARING DTC [ACTIVE BONNET].)
