Warning
•  An active bonnet actuator that has not been deployed may accidently operate when it is disposed of and cause serious injury. Refer to “ACTIVE BONNET ACTUATOR DEPLOYMENT PROCEDURES” and always dispose of an active bonnet actuator only after it has been deployed.
•  The active bonnet actuator is extremely hot directly after it is deployed and could cause a serious burn if touched. Leave the actuator alone for about 3 min after deployment to let it cool down before handling.
•  If a deployed active bonnet actuator is put in water, a chemical reaction could occur producing harmful gas. Do not put a deployed active bonnet actuator in water.
•  A deployed active bonnet actuator contains chemical substances which could be harmful if they come into contact with a person's body. If these chemical substances get into your eyes or on your hands, it can cause irritation and itching. When handling a deployed active bonnet actuator, wear gloves and safety glasses.

1.  Remove the deployed active bonnet actuator.

2.  Put the active bonnet actuator in a plastic bag, seal it, and then dispose of it.
