• An LED has been adopted on the active bonnet warning light.
• The active bonnet warning light is built into the instrument cluster.
• When the ignition is switched ON, the instrument cluster illuminates the active bonnet warning light for a specific period of time to indicate that the active bonnet circuit in being diagnosed. If there is no malfunction in the active bonnet, the light is turned off.
• If a malfunction is detected in the active bonnet, the active bonnet control module sends a warning signal to the instrument cluster via CAN communication. The instrument cluster illuminates or flashes the active bonnet warning light based on the warning signal.
• The active bonnet warning light displays DTCs according to the patterns shown in the figure if there is a malfunction in the active bonnet.
