TRUNK LID OPENER INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

2.  Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the trunk lid opener. (See TRUNK LID OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the corresponding the trunk lid opener terminals, and inspect the trunk lid opener operation.

•  If the trunk lid opener does not operate as indicated in the table, replace the trunk lid opener.
