DOOR KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Position the door glass so that the distance between the top of the front door glass and top of the front beltline molding is 110 mm {4.33 in}.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.(See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L8, LF].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Door trim (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Door speaker (See DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Door module panel (See DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Door glass (See DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Outer handle (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Detach the door key cylinder rod.

5.  Turn the front door key cylinder so that the tab is aligned with the notch.

6.  Remove the front door key cylinder by pulling it out from the front door.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
