• The HF/TEL unit communicates information between the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and the center panel unit.
• Any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone must be programmed to the HF/TEL unit for communication between the HF/TEL unit and Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. (Refer to the Owner’s Manual for the programming procedure.)
• A maximum of seven Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones can be programmed to the HF/TEL unit. If several programmed devices are within the communicative range, the HF/TEL unit communicates with the device that was last programmed. The devices which communicate with the HF/TEL unit can be changed optionally. (Refer to the Owner’s Manual for the procedure for changing communication devices.)
• A voice recognition function has been adopted for the HF/TEL unit. This allows the user to operate the mobile phone using voice. The HF/TEL unit is also equipped with a learning function to improve the precision of voice recognition.
• The HF/TEL unit utilizes a self-diagnostic function. This facilitates the system malfunction diagnosis.
