POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE INSPECTION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo]

Note

•  The upper cylinder head cover and intake manifold are one component and cannot be serviced separately.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the engine cover.

3.  Remove the cylinder head cover. (See CAMSHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)

4.  Visually inspect the PCV valve for the following:

•  Damage

•  Cracks

•  Dirt

―  If there is any malfunction, clean or replace the upper cylinder head cover. (See CAMSHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.4 DI Turbo].)
