Warning

• A hot transaxle and ATF can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before changing the ATF.

1. Remove the oil dipstick.

2. Remove the oil drain plug and washer.

3. Drain the ATF into a separate suitable container.

4. Install a new washer and the drain plug.

Tightening torque

30—41 N·m {3.1—4.1 kgf·m, 23—30 ft·lbf}

5. Add the specified ATF through the oil filler tube.

Draining ATF from drain plug: 2.5 L {2.6 US qt, 2.2 lmp qt}

Overhauling transaxle: 4.5 L {4.8 US qt, 4.0 lmp qt}

6. Install the oil dipstick.
