1	PERFORM STEERING LOCK UNIT PROGRAMMING •  Perform the steering lock unit programming. (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Clear the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Verify the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is the DTC B1026:51 displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT STEERING LOCK UNIT •  Inspect the steering lock unit. (See STEERING LOCK UNIT INSPECTION [WITH ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is the steering lock unit normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Replace the steering lock unit and perform steering lock unit programming. (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.].) (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [R.H.D.].) (See STEERING LOCK UNIT ID CODE REGISTRATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY DTCs •  Clear the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Verify the DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].) •  Is the DTC B1026:51 displayed?	Yes	Replace the keyless control module. (See KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ADVANCED KEYLESS AND START SYSTEM].)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
