INSPECT LED HEADLIGHT ILLUMINATION OPERATION
•  Switch the light switch to the HEAD position, and the dimmer switch to the HI position.
•  Do the LED headlights LO and HI illuminate?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 3.

INSPECT LED HEADLIGHT OFF OPERATION
•  Switch the light switch off.
•  Do the LED headlights LO and HI turn off?
Yes
System is normal.
No
Go to Step 8.

INSPECT LED HEADLIGHT POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Disconnect the LED headlight connector.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Switch the light switch to the HEAD position, and the dimmer switch to the HI position.
•  Measure the voltage at the following terminals (vehicle wiring harness side).
―  LED headlight terminal A
―  LED headlight terminal D
•  Is the voltage B+?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
•  Inspect the H/L LO LH 15A fuse, H/L LO RH 15A fuse, H/L HI LH 10A fuse, and H/L HI RH 10A fuse.
―  If a fuse is burnt out or damaged:
•  Replace the fuse.
―  If the fuse is normal:
•  Go to Step 5.

INSPECT LED HEADLIGHT GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
•  Verify that the negative battery cable is disconnected.
•  Verify that the LED headlight connector is disconnected.
•  Inspect for continuity between LED headlight terminal B (vehicle wiring harness) and body ground.
•  Is there continuity?
Yes
Replace the front combination light.
(See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit, then go to Step 11.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE
•  Verify that the negative battery cable is disconnected.
•  Remove the headlight relay.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Measure the voltage at the following terminals (vehicle wiring harness side).
―  Headlight relay terminal C
―  Headlight relay terminal E
•  Is the voltage B+?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
•  Repair or replace the wiring harness between the headlight relay and the battery.
•  After replacement, go to Step 11.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT RELAY
•  Verify that the headlight relay is removed.
•  Inspect the headlight relay.
•  Is the headlight relay normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
•  Replace the headlight relay.
•  After replacement, go to Step 11.

INSPECT BCM
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Connect the LED headlight connector.
•  Install the headlight relay.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Inspect BCM terminals 4G, 4O, 6E, and 6I.
•  Is the BCM normal?
Yes
Repair or replace the wiring harness between the headlight relay and the front combination light.
No
•  Replace the BCM.
•  After replacement, go to Step 11.

INSPECT LED HEADLIGHT POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE
•  Switch the light switch off.
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Disconnect the LED headlight connector.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Measure the voltage at the following terminals (vehicle wiring harness side).
―  LED headlight terminal A
―  LED headlight terminal D
•  Is the voltage B+?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
•  Replace the front combination light.
•  After replacement, go to Step 12.

INSPECT BCM
•  Verify that the negative battery cable is disconnected.
•  Connect the LED headlight connector.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Inspect BCM terminals 4G, 4O, 6E, and 6I.
•  Is the BCM normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
•  Replace the BCM.
•  After replacement, go to Step 12.

INSPECT WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN HEADLIGHT RELAY AND FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Remove the headlight relay.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Measure the voltage at the following terminals (vehicle wiring harness side).
―  Headlight relay terminal A
―  Headlight relay terminal D
•  Is the voltage B+?
Yes
Repair or replace the wiring harness, then go to the next step.
No
•  Replace the headlight relay.
•  After replacement, go to Step 12.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE WAS CORRECTED
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Disconnect the LED headlight connector.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Switch the light switch to the HEAD position, and the dimmer switch to the HI position.
•  Do the LED headlights LO and HI illuminate?
Yes
Inspection completed (explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.).
No
If the malfunction has not been resolved, repeat the inspection from Step 3.

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE WAS CORRECTED
•  Disconnect the negative battery cable.
•  Disconnect the LED headlight connector.
•  Connect the negative battery cable.
•  Switch the light switch off.
•  Do the LED headlights LO and HI turn off?
Yes
Inspection completed (explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.).
No
If the malfunction has not been resolved, repeat the inspection from Step 8.
