•  The turbocharger solenoid valve controls the opening angle of the turbocharger valve based on the control signal from the PCM.

•  The turbocharger solenoid valve is located at the rear of the engine compartment.

•  The turbocharger solenoid valve consists of the armature, plug, coil, filter, cap nozzle, and bellow.

•  The coil is energized and the plunger is operated to open/close the turbocharger solenoid valve according to the control signal from the PCM

•  If the control signal from the PCM is cut temporarily, the turbocharger solenoid valve is closed to the fully closed position by the movement of the armature, bellow, and cap nozzle.

•  The vacuum pump vacuum is introduced to the turbocharger valve actuator by the turbocharger solenoid valve opening.
