Purpose, Function
• The fuel pump relay controls the fuel pump on/off according to control signals from the PCM.
• Operates the fuel pump only at engine start or while the engine is running to improve safety.
Construction
• The fuel pump relay is located on the relay and fuse block.
Operation
• The contact point is on when the coil is energized based on the signals from the PCM, and battery voltage is supplied to the fuel pump control module.
Fail-safe
• Function not equipped.
