SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5 (with 4-1 exhaust system)

• By integrating the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter (WU-TWC), the distance from the combustion chamber to the catalytic converter has been shortened. Because the high temperature exhaust gas passes the catalytic converter, early activation of the catalytic converter improves exhaust gas purification.

SKYACTIV-G 1.5 (with 4-2-1 exhaust system)

• A high compression ratio has been realized by adopting 4-2-1 exhaust pipes and reducing residual gas in the cylinders.

• The loop structure of the exhaust pipes for the 4-2-1 system takes up less space.
