Purpose, Function
• A bell joint has been adopted for the wheel-side constant velocity joint, reducing vibration and noise.
• For ATX vehicles, to absorb idling vibration occurring while the vehicle is stopped in the D position and to reduce booming noise during high-speed driving, a tripod-shaped joint has been adopted for the differential-side constant velocity joint.
• For MTX vehicles, to reduce booming noise during high-speed driving, a low noise and vibration double offset joint with low slide resistance has been adopted for the differential-side constant velocity joint.
• An extremely durable plastic has been adopted for the wheel side boot.
• By integrating the drive shaft on the right side with the joint shaft, vibration and noise during driving, which occurred from the previous spline connection construction, has been reduced.
