POWERTRAIN SYSTEM [F65M-R]

id0515n1284100

Purpose, Function

•  The powertrain mechanism changes the gear combination by engaging or releasing the clutch hub and gear, and changes the power transmission route. Because of the change in the power transmission route, the drive force (speed, torque, rotation direction) input from the engine is converted.

Ball bearing

•  The powertrain mechanism has adopted a ball bearing in the location shown in the figure and rotational friction resistance of the primary shaft and secondary shaft has been reduced.

Oil path, oil pipe

•  The powertrain mechanism has adopted the same spray oiling system, and an oil pipe in addition to a funnel and oil path have been adopted.
•  The oil path uniformly distributes raised transaxle oil and supplies it to each part.
•  The oil pipe intakes the transaxle oil flowing through the oil path via the funnel. While the intake transaxle oil flows rearward in the primary shaft by the spiral-shaped groove in the oil pipe, the oil is uniformly distributed and supplied to each part by the centrifugal force occurring with the primary shaft rotation.
•  The powertrain mechanism can operate with a lesser amount of transaxle oil due to the oil path and oil pipe, and flowing resistance from the powertrain mechanism transaxle oil is reduced.
