NEUTRAL SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F66M-R]

SKYACTIV-G 1.5

Neutral switch No.1

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4.  Install in the order indicated in the table.

Note

•  White marking tape is adhered to the neutral switch No.2 connector. Verify that it is correctly installed as shown in the figure. (with i-stop)

5.  Install the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

6.  Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

Neutral switch No.2 (with i-stop)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4.  Install in the order indicated in the table.

Note

•  White marking tape is adhered to the neutral switch No.2 connector. Verify that it is correctly installed as shown in the figure.

5.  Install the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

6.  Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

Neutral switch No.1

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

4.  Install in the order indicated in the table.

5.  Install the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

6.  Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

Neutral switch No.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the air cleaner, air hose and fresh air duct as a single unit. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.
