STEERING WHEEL BEZEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
2. Open the driver's door.
3. Switch the ignition off.
4. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
5. Remove the driver-side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM].) 6. Remove the steering switch. (With steering switch) (See STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
7. Remove the steering wheel side cover. (With steering wheel side cover) (See STEERING WHEEL SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
8. Pull the steering wheel bezel in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, and detach tabs A and B, and the pin.

9. Remove the steering wheel bezel from the steering wheel. (See Steering Wheel Bezel Installation Note.)

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Steering Wheel Bezel Installation Note
1. Assemble the steering wheel bezel tabs A and B, and the pin to the steering wheel in the order shown in the figure.
