HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5]

SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5 (Without Coolant Control Valve)

1.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

2.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

3.  Remove the clips.

4.  Remove the heater hose A.

5.  Remove the heater hose B.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

SKYACTIV-G 1.5 (With Coolant Control Valve)

1.  Remove the battery. (L.H.D.) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

3.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)

4.  Remove the clips.

5.  Remove the heater hose A.

6.  Remove the heater hose B.

7.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

8.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.3, SKYACTIV-G 1.5].)
