FEATURES


BODY PANELS

•  The following structures have been adopted to absorb impact efficiently in the event of a collision and to suppress cabin deformation.
―  Straight structure which achieves both high strength and weight reduction
―  Multi-load path structure which assures a high level of collision absorption
―  Ring structure which enhances overall rigidity
•  A cross-shaped sectional front bumper reinforcement crush can and front side frames have been adopted which effectively absorb impact energy during a frontal collision and suppress cabin deformation.


DOORS AND LIFTGATE

•  A door beltline reinforcement and side impact bars have been adopted to prevent the doors from intruding into the cabin in a side collision.


GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS

•  A power window system has been adopted with which the door glass can be opened/closed electrically by operating the power window main switch or the power window sub switches.
•  A power outer mirror system has been adopted with which the outer mirrors can be operated remotely using the power outer mirror switch.
•  Outer mirror automatic folding has been adopted which retracts/returns the power outer mirrors in conjunction with the locking/unlocking of the doors. (With outer mirror automatic folding)
•  A rear window defogger has been adopted with which rear window glass fogging can be cleared by pressing the rear window defogger switch.


SEATS

Front seat
•  High performance, front seat belts have been adopted for the safety of occupants while traveling in the vehicle.
•  Front seats which side air bag modules have been adopted to soften the impact to the chest, abdominal, and lumbar areas of the occupants during a collision. (With side air bag)
•  An occupancy sensor has been adopted to the front seat on the front passenger seat to determine the seating condition of the front passenger seat.
•  A seat warmer system has been adopted which warms the occupants in the front seats by warming the front seat cushions. (With seat warmer system)
Rear seat
•  A folding-type rear seat has been adopted which enlarges occupancy space.
•  6:4 split folding-type rear seat has been adopted which can adjust occupancy space according to the amount of the luggage.
•  The following parts have been adopted to the rear seat to mediate injury to a child during a collision emergency braking.

―  Top tether anchor


SECURITY AND LOCKS

•  A power door lock system has been adopted in which all doors are locked/unlocked when the driver's door is locked/unlocked using the driver's door lock knob, or the door key cylinder is operated.
•  A liftgate opener system has been adopted in which the liftgate can be opened just by pressing the liftgate opener switch.
•  A keyless entry system has been adopted in which locking/locking is performed by operation of the remote transmitter button, even from a location away front the vehicle. (With keyless entry system)
•  An advanced keyless entry system has been adopted which performs automatic authorization of the remote transmitter that is carried and locking/unlocking of the doors. (With advanced keyless entry system)
•  A push button start system has been adopted that automatically performs authorization of the remote transmitter brought into the vehicle.
•  An immobilizer system has been adopted that only allows remote transmitters that have been previously programmed to the vehicle to start the engine.
•  A theft-deterrent system has been adopted which activates the theft-deterrent siren or theft-deterrent horn if a door, the liftgate/trunk lid, or the bonnet is opened improperly. (With theft-deterrent system)


EXTERIOR TRIM

•  Under covers and deflectors have been adopted to straighten the wind flow to the underside of the vehicle.

•  A front console box has been adopted which allows storage of small objects such as a Smartphone.

•  Front combination lights have been adopted with parts related to the front exterior lights grouped and housed together.

•  An instrument cluster integrated with an active driving display has been adopted which displays the driving speed, warning screen, and direction of vehicle travel. (digital speedometer type)
•  An LCD has been adopted to the instrument cluster which displays vehicle information such as the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer/tripmeter, ambient temperature, trip computer.
•  A parking sensor system has been adopted which detects obstructions in the blind spot (vehicle rear/corners) to a wide extent using ultrasonic sensors and notifies the driver of the obstructions. (with parking sensor system)
•  An indicator unit has been adopted which displays the passenger seat belt warning light.


CONTROL SYSTEM

•  A BCM has been adopted which performs input controls for the headlights, map light, rear wiper, front washer, and rear washer, and small load input/output controls for the door latch switches, windshield wipers and turn lights.
•  An electrical supply unit (ESU) has been adopted which performs high-load output control of the headlights, map light, door lock actuators, rear wiper, front washer, and rear washer.
