BUMPER SLIDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Front Bumper Slider

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screw and bolt.

4.  Remove the tabs shown in the figure and detach the front bumper slider from the front fender stay.

5.  While pressing tab in the direction of arrow (1), remove the front bumper slider in the direction of arrow (2).

6.   Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Bumper Slider

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Rear splash shield (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL.) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Extractor chamber (See EXTRACTOR CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screws and nut.

Caution

•   When removing, move the rear bumper slider straight out from the rear fender panel so as not to damage the rear bumper slider pin.

4.  Press the tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure and move the rear bumper slider in the direction of arrow (2) detaching the hook and the pin from the rear fender panel.

5.  Remove the rear bumper slider.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
